Indications:
ESOGASTEC is indicated for the following conditions: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) • Treatment of erosive reflux esophagitis, • Long-term management of patients with healed esophagitis to prevent relapse, • Symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). In combination with an appropriate antibacterial therapy for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection: • Healing of Helicobacter pylori-associated duodenal ulcer, • Prevention of relapse of peptic ulcer disease in patients with Helicobacter pylori- associated ulcers. Patients on continuous NSAID therapy • Treatment of NSAID-associated gastric ulcers, • Prevention of NSAID-associated gastric and duodenal ulcers in patients at risk. Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
